Cam2cam for ipad
Note: If you have a stand-alone camera or IP camera, there may already be an app built specifically for it, so check those out first as a native app will always work better. For example, Nest has its own app for Nest Cameras and Netgear has an app for Arlo cameras. When I need to do something in another part of the house, it’s a real pain having to stop what I’m doing and go check to make sure my daughter is not about to dive off the bed. What I also realized is that most of them don’t work very well.Once I realized I had a webcam already in every room of my house because of the laptops, I figured there had to be an i Pad/i Phone app that would let me wirelessly stream a live webcam feed. After going through about 6 or 7 apps, I ended up sticking with 3 apps that work pretty well. In this article, I’ll go through the three apps I tested and verified that work well in streaming a live feed of your webcam to your i Pad or i Phone over Wi Fi.It seems that they are trying to push the Pro version of their app more and that could be the reason for the lower video quality. The Pro versions costs , though, which is quite a bit IMHO.The first app that I found when doing a generic search was i Cam for .99.
I still recommend this app because it’s very highly rated and it could have just been some issue with my setup. For some reason, the video was very choppy and also pixelated. The program has a slider bar that lets you move it from Better Frame Rate to Better Image Quality, but neither one worked too well.Really though if you want to use a pick up line your better off just searching google or something at least there would be more. All this app really does is save you time for texting someone and you can't even alter what it says.
