Endnotes not updating
If you can bring yourself to use Firefox, it works a lot more smoothly.
Citations not importing from Firefox The first time you export citations from a database it asks you whether to open or save.

The initial delay in starting to format the Word document can sometimes be several minutes and, to all appearances, the process appears to have frozen.

This message can appear if the Cite While You Write (CWYW) tools from a previous version of End Note are in the Word startup folder.
Choose "Open", then browse to find End Note X7, and make sure to click "Do this every time" before clicking "Okay".
Since each citation you enter includes formatting codes that you cannot see, it is very important to edit it with End Note operations.
A footnote or an endnote consists of two parts — the note reference mark and the corresponding note text.
Footnotes and endnotes differ from citations, which are parenthetical references that are placed inline with the text.
